Course Goals and Background

The Forex Essentials course is the second part of our Introduction to Forex. After the general approach of the first lesson, this course will lead you to more concrete information about the forex market and tangible facts about currency trading. From the bigger picture, you now start getting into details that provide you with deeper knowledge and understanding.

Facts about the foreign exchange market.
Who are forex market players and what their role is.
Currency basics.
What are currency pairs and rates.
Calculating pips.
Forex SWAP explanation.

Course level

As the second part of the introductory course, the level of this lesson is still basic. However, we strongly recommend that you first read the previous lesson, since it is better to get the bigger picture before viewing the details, especially when dealing with forex.

Who should take part?

This course is open to anyone who registers to our Introduction to Forex. Registration is free. Beginners who have attended and integrated the material of the first course will be equipped to read and understand this course. As for more experienced traders, this course will refresh their memory and provide them with a good starting point for our more advanced courses.
