A firm Dollar dampening sentiment is pressuring the Gold down, but oil hiking prices offer some support to the precious metal; Gold traded at $871.95 at 8:00am GMT. Furthermore, physical buying also gives the metal some support. “Gold is a bit depressed here”, said Senior Vice President Frederic Panizzutti at MKS Finance. “You cannot attribute the price weakness to demand, probably rather to non-physical related selling.”
